The tip-screen provides timely help on the current feature or function you use. By default, it is turned on and changes its content to reflect your selection. If you are familiar with the program, you can click on the "X" button at the top to close it. The computer will memorize this option and not open it even when you restart the program. However, anytime you want it, just click on the apple image to reactivate it.
